Rina Piccolo
Drawing cartoons for longer than she can remember, Rina Piccolo's first work appeared on the living room wall of her parents' home and have since, unfortunately, been painted over. Her professional career began in 1989 and she has been happily chained to the drawing board ever since.
Most recently, Rina has enjoyed success as the "Wednesday Chick" on King Features daily panel "Six Chix." With the launch of "Tina's Groove," Rina looks forward to taking her passion for cartooning to new heights, which will be a challenge considering she is only 5'3" tall.
Like Tina, Rina's also in her thirties and, although having just recently been married, she has plenty of single life experiences to draw on. Aside from cartooning, Rina enjoys sleeping, eating and buying shoes. Her hobbies do not include working out, cooking, macramé or watching sports (unless it is a sport where the players wear tight pants).
Rina's work has been seen in numerous magazines, cartoon anthologies and greeting cards. She has three published books: "Stand Back, I Think I'm Gonna Laugh"; "Rina's Big Book of Sex Cartoons"; "Kicking the Habit: Cartoons About the Catholic Church."
Rina was born and raised in Canada. She now lives in New York City.
